Personal Pick: Wagyu Beef Burger - The combination of 100% Northern Tablelands Wagyu beef, Tasmanian brie and caramelised onions is so amazingly juicy and mellow that I didn't stop to talk until I was half way through devouring my burger.

Ed and I went to this gourmet burger joint during lunch time on a weekday, and was pleasantly surprised by their $15 lunch special with any burger (except the Deluxe Moo Double Decker) and hot chips. Ed ordered the Big Moo, and we both also ordered their Traditional Milkshakes. The milkshakes were served in metal shakers which I liked because it's more environmentally friendly. The shakes themselves were also thick and heavenly.

They have a casual setting with excellent outdoor seating on Willoughby Road, Crows Nest. Ordering is done at the register, the wait staff was friendly and attentive.

Big Moo |
Moo Burgers states that they only use ethically farmed, free range, free to roam, sustainable products free from hormone growth promotants and antibiotic treatments. I don't know if that's the reason they taste so good, but it does make me feel more responsible than eating something that's not ethically farmed.
My second visit was with M. M had the Beef Avocado and Bacon. They are very generous with the avocado, which saves the burger from being dry. Sadly the same thing can not be said about the Classic Cheese I ordered. The patty was too dry for my liking. But the chips are just as good as before, perfectly cooked and crunchy. The Just Nuts milkshake is also well made.
