“Grasslands” Scotch Fillet
|
One night after gym, M and I decided we need some quality protein, so we headed over to Mumu Grill in Crows Nest. Mumu's steaks are healthier because they are 100% grass-fed. Compared to grain-fed, grass-fed beef
has less total fat, saturated fat, cholesterol, and calories. It also has more Vitamin E, beta-carotene, Vitamin C, and a number of health-promoting fats including omega-3 fatty acids.

Because their steaks have a lower fat content, we ordered both medium rare, and they turned out delightful. caramelised on the outside yet tender and juicy on the inside. You can choose between new potatoes, mash or chips to go with your steak, we chose chips because by that time our empty stomachs have taken over all rational reasoning.

We also ordered a side of Roasted Vegetables. But when all the food hit the table we realised it was a bad move. There was just too much food for the two of us.

Somehow I manage to finish most of the food. The high quality of their ingredients really shines through. We would love to go back and try their other dishes. Their staff are all friendly and attentive, making it a pleasant and relaxed dinning experience.
